Vacuum Excavation | Non Destructive Digging

Qualified Non Destructive Digging and Excavations

Hydrovac excavation is fast becoming the preferred method of digging for many in the Construction Industry. Huge advancements have been made in the technology behind this and it offers a safe and cost effective method of excavation with reduced risk of damage to utilities. If you’re considering non destructive digging and excavation services in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and beyond, we are here to help.

How does this type of excavation work?

Also known as Hydro Excavation, our range of vehicles with small and large debris capacity, safely trench and excavate around existing services such as cables or pipes. Hydro excavation is a non-mechanical, non destructive digging, excavation process that uses pressurised water and industrial strength vacuum to simultaneously excavate and evacuate soil. As hydro excavation safely breaks up soil, the soil and water slurry is conveyed by vacuum to a debris tank.  This vastly reduces the risk to utilities caused by manual or mechanical digging methods and results in safe, fast, precise diggings that require less backfill, labour and restoration.  It has less environmental impact than traditional techniques; power, water, gas and sewer utilities remain unharmed by our high pressure water jetting.

Non destructive digging is also perfectly suited to excavate holes for footings trenches and pits or any new infrastructure, providing a safer alternative to an auger. The non destructive digging equipment can minimise the costs of the project; the material can be replaced back in the trench at the end of the works or removed from the site entirely.
